Senior Specialist at Ghana Health Service
Dr Antwi is a 50 year old medical doctor with specialization in public health. He did his undergraduate training at the University of Ghana Medical School and graduated in 1994. After a period of internship he worked in a rural part of Ghana as a medical officer. He obtained an MPH (2001) from the University of Ghana and an MSc in Epidemiology (2011) from the University of Utrecht.
Dr Antwi worked as Deputy Director of Public Health in the Greater Accra region of Ghana from 2003 till 2012, overseeing maternal and child health, disease control and nutrition programmes.
Currently he works with the Child Health Unit at the headquarters of the Ghana health Service. His interest is in maternal and child health with a focus on NewBorn care.
He is married with two children.
