Greivin Alexander Brenes Monge

Project Manager at National Institute of Public Health


Currently Greivin Alexander Brenes Monge is a project manager of maternal health research projects at the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico. He received in a general nursing degree at the University of Costa Rica and moved to Mexico to complete his masters degree in public health in health administration at the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico. As a student he worked on research projects including the evaluation of growth and development in children, pregnancy and delivery care for women with overweight and obesity, and evaluation of clinical practice guidelines implementation for maternal and child care and chronic non-communicable diseases. He has extensive experience in data management and analysis which he developed through a research internship at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Oregon Health and Science University. His interests include maternal health, child health, quality of care, healthcare improvement strategies, and project management.
