Abu Sayed Mohammad Hasan

Dr Hasan was born on the 28th October, 1978. He graduated from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2003 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and obtained Masters of Public Health (MPH) from State University of Bangladesh in 2009. In addition, he has completed diploma on SRH from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in 2016.
Dr Hassan has over thirteen years of experience in development and implementation of large-scale public health programs, he has worked at various levels starting from supporting implementation at village level to managing large scale maternal, newborn and child health programs at district and state/divisional level. He also has significant experience of working at the national level including design of programs, development of operational strategy guidelines, monitoring and implementation tools, national level budgeting, advocacy and representation to donors and Government, grant management and reporting.
Dr Hassan has worked closely with the respective Ministries at national, state and district levels, local government institutions, and NGOs. The technical interventions focused on were: antenatal/postnatal care, facility delivery, essential Newborn care, micronutrients (vitamin A and iron), immunization, family planning, adolescent sexual and reproductive and quality improvement of MNCH service delivery.
During his undergraduate course, he was actively involved in voluntary organization and elected general secretary of Red Crescent Youth in 2002-2003.
