Community Health Program Manager at Aga Khan Health Services

Dr Hebayat graduated from Nangarhar High school in 1996 obtaining first position, did a medical course at Nangarhar Medical faculty for seven years and graduated in 2003. In order to enhance his capacity in public health he undertook a Diploma in Public Health and Management in 2008, and thereafter got admission in AKU Karachi for MSc. Health Policy and Management program.

Dr Hebayat has 13 years’ work experience; initially he worked with government hospitals then switched to public health field. His first assignment was Managing MCH clinic with Norwegian Afghanistan Committee in Jalalabad city. He has worked with different international NGOs (UN, Health Net TPO,) in different management positions and has made a lot of changes in his professional career. Currently he is working as manager of health programs with Aga Khan Health Services, Afghanistan.
