Bezad Rachid

Professor of gynecology obstetric at University Mohammed V and Director of national reproductive health at university health center

Prof Bezad has more than two decades of professional development in the field of the maternal and perinatal health. During this time he has played a leading role in the implementation of the various strategies and programs aimed at reduction of the mortality and morbidity of mothers and neonates in Morocco.

At the University Mohammed V, Prof Bezad played a key role in the reorganization of the emergency obstetric care module to obstetric and neonatal care of emergencies, he is also involved in training of doctors and the midwives.

Prof Bezad set up the monitoring system of the maternal and neonatal deaths in Morocco in 2008 and I was a president of committee of experts on maternal health from 2008-2012.

He has participated and presented the Moroccan MCH experience at several local and international conferences.
